Summary: The Blackmore Vale Path is a long distance footpath which by using ancient tracks circumnavigates the Vale of Blackmore in the counties of Dorset and Somerset, south-west England. From the beginning of the walk at Blandford Forum the route, when taken in a clockwise direction, visits Winterbourne Stickland, Milton Abbas, Dewlish, Tolpuddle, Puddletown, Dorchester, Charlton High Down, Godmanstone, Cerne Abbas and the Cerne Giant, Minterne Magna, Hermitage, Leigh, Yetminster, Yeovil, Sherborne, Stalbridge, Sturminster Newton and Okeford Fitzpaine before returing to Blandford Forum.
