Summary: The Coventry Canal walk follows the towpath along its full length. It starts in Coventry and ends 38 miles (65 km) north at Fradley Junction, just north of Lichfield, where it joins the Trent and Mersey Canal. The route included in these files starts from the Fradley Junction end so the city can be explored after the walk. The Coventry Canal also has connections with the Oxford Canal, the Ashby Canal, and the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal. It runs through or past the towns of Bedworth, Nuneaton, Atherstone, Polesworth and Tamworth. The canal forms part of the Warwickshire ring.
