Summary: This walk is a tough undertaking, a challenging undulating route of 22 miles and involving almost 3,000 metres of ascent. Designed as a challenge walk to be completed in under 12 hours, the walk starts and finishes at the Nag's Head Public House in the popular walking villlage ofEdale, it circumnavigates Kinder Scout taking in most of Kinder's famous features including the three trig points, Grindslow Knoll, Edale Cross, Crowden Tower, Seal Stones, Druid's Stone, Mad Women's Stones and Mermaid's Pool with a final ascent of Ringing Roger before descending back into Edale village. On successful completion of the challenge, should you fancy a pint in one of the villages pubs, you will certainly have earned it.
