The P600 Mountains of Britain and Ireland

Mountains which have a topographic prominence of over 600 metres from any other mountain or land mass

This page includes a map of the mountains of Britain and Ireland which qualify as 'P600 Mountains'. You may use it for reference, or in the completion of your quest to climb all the P600 mountains in Britain and Ireland.

A P600 is defined as a mountain with a topographic prominence above 600 metres, By definition, P600's have a height above 600 metres (1,969 feet), the qualified requirement to be called a "mountain" in the British Isles.

Essentially, the mountains in the P600 list should all be clearly identifiable, as each has a stand alone mass rising to 600 metres or over.

By clicking on any mountain on the map, a pop-out list shows details on the particular mountains height and prominence, in both metres and feet. Grid reference, latitude and longitude are also detailed. Additionally, a link leads you to the Wikipedia page for each individual mountain within the group.
