Summary: The Bollin Valley Way is a footpath which follows the course of the River Bollin from Riverside Park in Macclesfield, Cheshire to the town of Partington in Greater Manchester. The walk includes farmland trails, woodlands, towns and villages. The way also skirts around Manchester Airport, including underneath a runway beforing ending up in the industrial area near the Manchester Ship Canal. From start to finish the way visits Macclesfield, Prestbury, Wilmslow, Hale, Little Bollington (Dunham Massey), Dunham Woodhouses, Mossbrow and Warburton before finishing in Partington.
