Calder Woodland Way

A 23 miles long distance footpath which is a greenway route between Brighouse and Walsden that provides a wonderful exploration of the woodland landscapes of the Calder Valley. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: The Calder Woodland Way is a greenway route between Brighouse and Walsden that provides a wonderful exploration of the woodland landscapes of the Calder Valley. Though not wooded throughout the walk it does link many beautiful woods of Calderdale. The Calder Woodland Way can be walked as one long route or broken into a number of sections as it begins and ends at railway stations and it has further railway stations in between. It passes the stations in Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden and within half a mile of Mytholmroyd station.
