Summary:
This route is one of the options of the Rotary Club of Harrogate's annual Nidderdale walks.
This walk is ideal for those who enjoy mid length walks. The route takes walkers along the Nidderdale vallley to the village of Bouthwaite. From Pateley Bridge the route follows the path of the Harrogatew Rotary 4/ 15 / 22 / 26 mile walks along the Nidderdale Way. In two miles the hamlet of Wath is reached. Shortly after leaving Wath the path continues along the Nidderdale walk soon coming alongside the east side of Gouthwaite Reservoir which is followed along its full length to Bouthwaite. From the village the walk the returns to Pateley Bridge by retracing the outbound route back.
