Summary: The Newcastle Way is a long distance footpath in Staffordshire which complements the towns, villages and countryside of Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. Starting on the Old Man of Mow near Mow Cop the walk heads to Market Drayton via Dales Green, Trubshaw, Kidsgrove, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Finney Green, Madeley Heath, Madeley, Maer Hills, Loggerheads, Blore Heath and Almington. There are some decent climbs with views to the west of the Shropshire Hills and south as far as Cannock Chase.
