River Teign Walk

Summary: The River Teign Walk is a long-distance footpath which follows the route of the River Teign in Devon, England from Postbridge on Dartmoor to the mouth of the river in Shaldon. Significant places on, or near to, the route starting with a lovely upland section of Dartmoor include Fernworthy Forest, Gidleigh, Chagford, Piddledown Common, Prestonbury Castle Hill Fort, Wooston Castle Hill Fort, Hitchcombe Wood, Cod Wood, Bridford Wood, Doddiscombleigh, Lower Ashton, Trusham, Chudleigh, Chudleigh Knighton and Newton Abbot.
