Summary: The Heart of England Way is a long distance walk of just over 100 miles which runs through the Midlands of England. The walk starts at Milford Common on Cannock Chase and ends at Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds. On its course the path passes through the counties of Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire. Significant places on the Heart of England Way include Milford ommon, Cannock Chase, Castle Ring, Lichfield, Drayton Bassett, Shustoke, Meriden, Berkswell, Balsall Common, Rowington, Henley-in-Arden, Alcester, Bidford-on-Avon, Upper Quinton, Mickleton, Chipping Campden, Longborough and Bourton-on-the-Water. The path is maintained by the Heart of England Way Association.
