Summary: The Around Corby long distance footpath which circles the Northants town was opened in May 2009. It was designed by local Ramblers member Mel Jarvis. The route which strives to include the very best of the local countryside and villages close to Corby goes by Wilsbarston, Pipewell Wood, Great Oakley, Geddington, Geddington Chase, Stanion, Brigstock, Upper Laudimer Wood, Weldon, Kirkby Hall (including site of Medieval village), Gretton, Rockingham (and Rockingham Castle), Great Easton, Bringhurst, Cottingham and Middleton.
