Walks in East Yorkshire

Millington Dale
Typical chalk uplands of the Yorkshire Wolds

I explored the walking haunts of East Yorkshire during the three years I spent living in Beverley. Naturally I concentrated on the Yorkshire Wolds for apart from coastal walks there seemed little more of any real interest. However, when I made the effort to search around and discover more about this quiet part of England I found there were lots of good walks just waiting to be found. Even in the suburbia of Hull I discovered some excellent walks. I believe I have covered some of the best walking in East Yorkshire on these pages. If you live in East Yorkshire, or even just visiting, you may find one or two of the walks described on these pages to your liking. Go on, take a walk. You will be pleasantly surprised. Oh, and if you have a gem of your own please let me know and I will add it to the resource.
