Summary: The 25 mile long Beacon Banks Challenge starts and finishes in the small and attractive Yorkshire market town of Easingwold, just off the A19 about twelve miles north of York, through a scenic and little walked area offering views of the south-western North York Moors which includes the White Horse of Kilburn and also views of the nearby Howardian Hills. On the route the walks visits Husthwaite, Kilburn, Byland Abbey and Coxwold.
