Summary: The Branston - Jacksons Bank Walk is a circular route which includes old and new woodland and various historic sites throughout the walk. The Trent Valley is featured briefly at the start and towards the end of the walk with various forms of transportation in the valley being highlighted including canal, railway, road and river. During the walk places visited, or skirted, include Battlestead Hill, Tattenhill, Rangemore, Needlewood Forest, Newchurch, Brakenhurst Wood, Beck's Bank, Hawk Hills, Yoxall Park, White wood, Yoxall, Swarbourn Meadow, the Eaggness, Wychnor Park, Potters Meadow, Alrewas, Wychnor, Barton-under-Needlewood, Barton Turn and the River Trent.
