Bridgend Circular Walk

A 20 miles long distance footpath in South Wales which completes a circuit of the outskirts of Bridgend and which visits local beauty spots and nature reserves along the way. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: The Bridgend Circular Walk is a footpath which links some of the towns and villages within a short distance of the South Wales town of Bridgend. Apart from when it visits the towns and villages the route is mainly walked in a rural setting. From the start at Ogmore Castle the route, when taken in a clockwise direction, vists or passes close to Merthyr Mawr, Laleston/ Trelales, Court Colman, Pen-y-fai, Sarn, Cymdda, Pant-y-pyllau, Hendre, Coyschurch/ Llangrallo, Treoes, Corntown/ Corntwn, Old Castle Down, St Brides Major/ Saint-y-brid and Ogmore Down.
