Summary: The Centenary Way which runs from Ilkeston to Ashbourne in the Peak District and in an east to west direction was devised by the Derbyshire Footpaths Preservation Society to commemorate their centenary. As well as connecting Ilkeston with Ashbourne the walk visits the attractive villages of West Hallam, Duffield, Weston Underwood, Brailsford, Ednaston, Shirley and Osmaston. The Centenary Way links with more long distance walks in the Peak District in Ashbourne.
