Summary: The Cistercian Way Wales is a 600 miles walk which visits the great abbeys of the Cistercian order in the country as well as including many other religious sites in Wales from larger town churches to the little churches of the Welsh hills. Stone Age burial mounds, medieval castles and picturesque landscaped gardens and the industrial heritage of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries are also included in the walk which makes it a comprehensive cultural exploration of Wales.
