Summary: The Doncastrian Way is 33 mile circular walk around the outskirts of Doncaster following a route towards Barnby Dun and Dunsville returning through Sprotbrough and along the River Don. The walk goes through many different areas of the Doncaster Borough from the urban fringes to open fields and attractive woodlands and from riverbanks to green lanes. The route which follows public rights of way, with short sections on roads, was devised by Pat White of Doncaster Wayfarers in the early 1970's.
