Eden Way

A long distance walk of 78 miles which follows Cumbria's River Eden upstream from the Solway Firth to its source in the Yorkshire Dales National Park at Mallerstang. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: The Eden Way route follows the course of the River Eden from the Solway Firth through diverse Cumbrian countryside to the source of the river in the Yorkshire Dales on Mallerstang Edge, south of Kirkby Stephen. The route visits Carlisle, Wetheral, Armathwaite, Kirkoswald, Langwathby, Appleby, Warcop and Kirkby Stephen before finding the first signs of the river on Black Fell Moss.
