Firth o Clyde Rotary Trail

A long distance walk of 160 miles in Scotland which follows the west coast from Mull of Galloway to the Firth of Clyde, continuing up the firth to link with the West Highland Way at Milngavie. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: The Firth o Clyde Rotary Trail runs from the Mull of Galloway to Mingavie via Greenock and the Erskine Bridge. The route comprises the Mull of Galloway Trail, The Ayrshire Coastal Path and the Clyde Coastal Path. The Route was created and is maintained by the Rotary Clubs of Stranraer, Ayr, Gourock and Allander. Some well known locations on the route from the start at Mull of Galloway to the finish at Milngavie are Cailiness Point, Drummore, Sandhead, Stranraer, Loch Ryan, Ballantrae, Lendalfoot, Girvan, Turnberry Point, Culzean Bay, Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Irving, Kilwinning, Stevenston, Saltcoats, Ardrossan, West Kilbride, Farland Head, Fairlie, Largs, Skelmorlie, Wemyss Bay, Inverkip, Gourock, Greenock, Port Glasgow, Erskine Bridge and Duntocher.
