Summary: The Gordano Round, devised by the Gordano Footpath Group, is a figure-of-eight walk initially following the coast path of the Severn Estuary past the Black Nore Lighthouse to Clevedon. Turning inland through the town the walker then follows wooded countryside to Clapton in Gordano. More farmland and woods lead to the eastern limit of the walk at Abbots Leigh where the route circles back to Clapton in Gordano. From here the walk is in open countryside back to the start. The guidebook includes four links which can be used to make short circular walks. (Source: LDWA)
