Summary
This route is one of the options of the Rotary Club of Harrogate’s annual Nidderdale walks.
This walk is ideal for family walkers (though not suitable for pushchairs). The route takes walkers along the Nidderdale valley to the hamlet of Wath. From Pateley Bridge, the route follows the path of the 15, 22, and 26-mile walks along the Nidderdale Way. After two miles, the hamlet of Wath is reached. Shortly after leaving Wath, take a path to the right (east) which leads up the hillside and loops back round to the Nidderdale Way near the hotel at Wath, following the Nidderdale Way back into Pateley Bridge.
