Summary: This route is one of the options of the Rotary Club of Harrogate's annual Nidderdale walks.

This walk is ideal for family walkers (but not for pushchairs). The route takes walkers along the Nidderdale vallley to the hamlet of Wath. From Pateley Bridge the route follows the path of the 15 / 22 / 26 mile walks along the Nidderdale Way. In two miles the hamlet of Wath is reached. Shortly after leaving Wath, take a path to the right (east) which leads up the hillside and back round to the Nidderdale way near the hotel at Wath. Follow the Nidderdale Way back into Pateley Bridge.
