A walk of 10 miles in West Yorkshire featuring the town of Holmfirth and the villages and hamlets surrounding the town. Many locations from the 'Last of the Summer Wine' television series are visited during the walk. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: The Holme Valley Hills and Hamlets Walk is 10 mile circular route around the Holme Valley to the south of Huddersfield. The route which begins in Holmfirth visits the neighbouring hamlets of Upperthong, Netherthong, Thongsbridge and New Mill. Locations on the walk are familiar to fans of the popular television series "Last of the Summer Wine" which was filmed in the area.
