Summary:
The Holme Valley Hills and Hamlets Walk is 10 mile circular route around the Holme Valley to the south of Huddersfield. The route which begins in Holmfirth visits the neighbouring hamlets of Upperthong, Netherthong, Thongsbridge and New Mill. Locations on the walk are familiar to fans of the popular television series "Last of the Summer Wine" which was filmed in the area.
