A long distance walk of 30 miles in Wiltshire which makes a circuit around the boundary of the military no-go zone on Salisbury Plain. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: This route is around the perimeter of the military training firing range which includes the deserted village of Imber on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. The route is circular, beginning and ending on the Weseex Ridgeway just east of Westbury. The route follows the ridgeway and the escarpment above Westbury White Horse. It visits the villages of Gore Cross, Tilshead and Chitterne as well as fringing the north side of Warmisiter. It also visits several Iron Age hill forts including Scratchbury Hill and Battlesbury Hill.
