Summary: The Ivanhoe Way is a circular long distance footpath which explores some of the best countryside in rural Leicestershire and which starts and finishes in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The route, taken in an anti-clockwise circuit visits, in order, Moira, Donisthorpe, Measham, Snareston, Shackerstone, Coalville and Staunton Harold. Calke Abbey is close to the route and well worth the short detour.
