Quantock Way

A long distance path of 33 miles in Somerset. Starting in the county town of Taunton, the way crosses the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, before descending to the coast at Minehead. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.

Summary: The Quantock Way is a long distance footpath which crosses the Quantock Hills in Somerset before following the Somerset coast from Watchet to Minehead. From the start of the walk at Taunton Railway Station the route visits Staplegrove, Nailsbourne, Kingston St Mary, Broomfield, Timbercombe, Merridge Hill, Lydeard Hill, Wills Neck, Great Hill, Crowcombe Combe Gate, Hurley Beacon, Halsway Soggs, Lowsey Thorn, Black Ball Hill, Weacombe Hill, Beacon Hill, West Quantoxhead, Doniford, Watchet, Daws Castle and Dunster Beach before ending in Minehead.
