Summary: The Ramsbottom Round is a circular walk which travels around the suburbs and local countryside surrounding the Lancashire town. From the start at Ramsbottom Railway Station the path heads east to the Pennine fringes on Harden Moor and continues northwards over Knowl Moor, Higher Hill and Tottington Higher End Moor before climbing Cowpe Lowe where a short detour to the 440m high trig pillar can be made. The route continues west and down from the hills to Irwell Vale before climbing once more to Holcombe Moor and Peel Tower.
